Nature-Based Mindfulness Refresher RetreatRemember your authentic Zen as Mother Nature reveals her spring splendor at this beautiful location near Newtown, OH.
This one-day retreat will be prefaced with a week of at-home preparation to attune to your inner mindful guru, by introducing and building on practices that hone body nurturing, awareness, and acceptance. With your intuitive “muscles” primed, the group will then meet on Saturday, April 29 for a 7-hour retreat experience which interweaves yoga, exploring the great outdoors, creativity, journaling, embodiment, and nurturing.
This retreat will be grounded in the Zapped to Zen and Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy “8 themes of mindfulness” and is an excellent refresher for former Zapped to Zen or Living Free participants as well as for anyone who is familiar with the use of mindful exploration of body and soul to create significant life change.
Rain or shine, this workshop will use exploration of surrounding pond, fields, and woods as part of the introspective process (exception in the case of thunderstorms). Plan accordingly with raincoats and hiking attire. Yoga, journaling, and discussion will be in or outdoors, weather dependent.
